Koh Wai is a small crescent shaped island with two small pleasant beaches. There are two resort on the island with rooms that range from simple huts to larger air conditioned beach bungalow. There is some good snorkelling on the shallow reefs off the beach. The lack of development makes the island an ideal place for a pleaceful beach trip and it's a good place to enjoy for couple of day before head back to your work....and if you wish to stay longer hope you are enjoyable.

How to get to Koh Wai, Trat, Thailand

From Laem Ngob to Koh Chang then Koh Wai

In Laem-Ngob they have the ferry from Centre Point Pier or Koh Chang Ferry Pier (Ao Tham Ma Chat) to go to Koh Chang in every 30 minutes, from 6:00 am - 7:00 pm. After you get in Koh Chang you have to take taxi (Song Theaw) from the ferry pier to Bang Boa pier - a trip that takes about half an hour.

And there are 1 scheduled trip from Bang Boa Pier to go to Koh Wai, leaving Bang Boa pier at 9:00 am. It takes 45 minutes to travel from Bang Boa to the Koh Wai Pakarang Resort. The price is 300 baht per person. Departure from Koh Wai to Koh Chang, will run 1 time a daily at 1.00 pm.

From Koh Wai to Koh Mak, will run every day and charge 300 baht per person at 10:00 am. Departure from Koh Mak to Koh Wai, will run 1 time a daily at 12:00 pm, and will take about 50 minutes to Koh Wai.

Go straight from Laem-Ngob to Koh Wai.
From Trad you have to take taxi (Song Thaew) to Laem-Ngob at Krom Luang Pier. Our Resort boat service takes customers from Laem-Ngob [Krom Luang Pier] everyday, just one time daily at 02:00 pm. The cost is 300 baht per person, and the trip takes about 2 and a half hours from Krom Luang Pier to our resort and you will arrive at the resort about 4:30 pm.

Our boat will run every day and charge 300 baht per person as we will leave Koh Wai Pakarang resort in every morning at 09:00am, and will arrive at Krom Luang Pier at Laem Ngob about 11:30 am. The boat will travel back to the Koh Wai Pakarang Resort, leaving Krom Luang Pier at 2:00 pm.

SPEED BOAT SERVICE

From Laem Ngob (Krom Luang Pier) to Koh Wai
Cost is 450 baht per person, will run 4 times a day at 9:30 am,10:30 am,2:00 pm, 4:00 pm, and will take about 45 minutes to Koh Wai. 
Departure from Koh Wai to Laem ngob (Main Land), will run 4 times a day at 8:00 am, 8:15 am.,10:45 am, 1:00 pm.

From Koh Chang to Koh Wai
Cost 400 baht per person, will run 1 time a day at 12:00 pm, and will take about 25 minute to Koh Wai 
Departure from Koh Wai to Koh Chang, will run 1 time every day at 10:30 am.

From Koh Mak to Koh Wai 
Cost 350 baht per person, will run 4 times a day at 7:45 am., 8:00 am, 10:30 am, 12:45 pm, and will take 15 minutes to Koh Wai
Departure from Koh Wai to Koh Mak, will run 4 times a day at 10:15 am, 11:15 am, 2:45 pm, 4:45 pm.

From Koh Kood to Koh Wai
Cost 700 baht per person, will run 1 time a day at 9:30 am, and will take 1 hour to Koh Kood
